Winter is here!!

Well it's been a cold, wet day here. We stayed indoors ALL DAY long! The house is trashed, then tidied, then trashed again. The furthest we went was the letter box, and even then it was just the girls - I stayed at the front doorway.

As usual, we had an argument about who the mail was for.

We had a crafty morning - painting, stickers, crayons. Hugely messy fun stuff. Nikita got a bit bored with it after a short while, and typical of her, thought it was more fun to lick the paint, rather than splash it onto her page.

I actually got a bit creative and cut out some guitar shapes from the side of a nappy box, and we painted up them first. Tomorrow when we're at the shops I'm hoping to find a ball of wool and we can add some strings to the guitars.

We're also expecting Matthew, Josh & Jacqui, and Maia & Kelly, to come for a visit around lunchtime-ish, so I may find myself cutting up a couple more guitars then.

Sasha's birthday is just around the corner, so I need to start thinking about some invitations. We're just having a small kiddies party on the morning of her birthday (after arriving home at close to midnight the night before!!) as she's really starting to understand parties and party games. It WILL be fun!!
