Been a bit slack!!

Wow, it's almost 2 weeks since I last posted. Well David was home for a while. He left this morning, so I'm still in the process of getting everything shipshape again - probably another 24 to 48 hours.

Mind you it all would be getting done a lot quicker if it weren't for Atwell Playgroup calls, commitments, problem solving, and more calls. It's been a bit of a strain due to one person refusing to accept that the session she wants to join is full and has a waiting list. Apparently she finds it 'ludicrous' and wondered whether I really was going to take the action I had said that I would, or whether I was just trying to say the right things to keep her happy and not follow through with them. OMG it's been a very bizarre episode. Unfortunately a spot has opened up now and I have to call her to say there is a position available. I'm sure it's just the beginning of troubled times.

It was a gorgeous, but cold, autumn day. Sasha, Nikita & I went to the zoo for a wander. They're both fascinated by the monkeys and the crocodile. Although one of the Jabiru's in the walk-through to the crocodile exhibit is quite aggressive. Sasha was very brave though, and when I told her to pay attention to me & hold on to the pram & I wouldn't let anything happen to her, she listened and bravely did as she was told.

I've given up on toilet training (again) for now. It's only 2 weeks before our holiday, and it just isn't going to happen and be established before then. So we'll forget it and try again when we come back.

Anyway, it's late & I'm really tired. Too many late nights coming back to haunt me, so off for a sleep, recharge the batteries before I have the fun job of still more playgroup phone calls in the morning.

Hey Dani :)

pfft to the silly lady at playgroup, hopefully she'll just disappear into the woodwork and you won't have to deal with her too much anymore :)

Sasha is such a brave little miss! I don't think E would be quite that brave ;)

Hope you got lots of sleep :)
