DANG!!! - I'm such an IDIOT!!!

OMG, how do I get myself into these things??? Why do I KEEP getting myself into these things?? Why, oh why, do I have such an overwhelming sense of responsibility?? Am I really the only one?

I've somehow got myself into a position of sorting out the Father's Day presents for Playgroup. This means that of the approx 70 families, I may be receiving a photo from each which I then need to scan, crop, apply a border & Happy Father's Day 2006 text to, save onto CD ROM/Thumb drive, take into Officeworks in Fremantle & get them to make up into coasters, pick them up & redistribute to each of the sessions.

FAR OUT!!! Bets on how late I get to sleep this week. Bets on who complains about the lack of notice, or the (who knows what it'll be) about the presents. Let me at least start the complaining by saying WHY AM I SUCH AN IDIOT????

Not to mention that I have single-handedly found a new Enrolment Officer to replace me as I have taken on the role of Secretary, and also organised the Christmas functions. I've also been looking into organising an excursion for this term which is all too quickly slipping away...!

Brett (Dylan's Dad) was asking me the other day if I was planning on joining the P&C at Atwell & I almost choked. (but you know I probably will eventually - just need a holiday after playgroup has finished).

I had a busy day today, birthday & baby shopping, visiting Tara & Clare's new babies in hospital & then off to Officeworks to find out about these coasters. I also posted off my Eskimo Kisses LO, so that's very exciting. Can't believe that I have to wait until Feb to see it in print. After these gifts are organised, I hope to get some more scrapping done. I really want to work on getting Sasha published too, then I will probably rest back on my laurels & just scrap for my own enjoyment (which I do anyway).

Well, this DVD of photo's has pretty much finished processing. It's the first one I've done where I've used the LightScribe labellers that's built into the PC, so it'll be interesting to see how it comes out. Will be passing it on to Clare as it's a DVD slideshow of the photos I took today in the hospital of baby Christian & big brother Dylan.
