Sasha had her first day at Day Care today. I think she enjoyed it. She was quite happy enough to kiss me goodbye & run off to play with the kids there. The ladies said that she got a bit upset when it was time for afternoon naps & one of them sat with her quietly.
When I went to pick her up she had had her face painted & looked so gorgeous.
Nikita was really great both dropping off & picking up Sasha which made it all a bit easier.
The most traumatic part of the day by far was when I washed the flower off Sasha's face without her permission. Oh boy, did I cop it!! She wanted to go back to day care to have her face painted again, then & there. The other traumatic part of the day was when I was taking these photo's she found a pizza coupon in the letter box & insisted that we would have pizza for dinner, not steak & veg as per my intentions.
Anyway, I'm glad she had a good time today. I haven't been able to get a lot of sense out of her about what she did - I know she played jigsaws with Katie (a friend from Playgroup) & had yoghurt for afternoon tea, & that a lady sat with her quietly for afternoon sleeps. The girls' names are "girls" & the boys' names are "boys", although she was calling an imaginary person Malcolm (or something like that) tonight.
