Crackle, crackle, crrrrrrrrUNCH!!!

That's the sound you hear from INSIDE your head as a tooth is being ripped out. I can tell you this from recent experience.

I had a wisdom tooth removed this afternoon. Well, 1/2 a wisdom tooth anyway. The other half had removed itself about 6-12 mths ago and it had just started to ache.

It's really starting to ache now that the anaesthetic has worn off. I'm back to the dentist tomorrow to get some fillings done - as much as he can do in a 1/2 hour.

So I've now had 2 'permanent' teeth pulled due to decay, and the saying is a tooth for a child. So heaven help the next dentist who suggests I need another tooth pulled!! LOL. Actually, I'm a bit surprised he seems to think he can fill the Black Hole molar.

Anyway, off for a couple of panadols and then a good long sleep.

Oh, just wanted to add, that a couple of dental needles in the roof of your soft palate = NO FUN!! They are the most painful dental needles I've had in a loooong time!!

SNAP!! Was at the dentist myself yesterday for the first time in 2 years. Rather harrowing experience as she had a cancellation and I opted to have the filling and cleaning down whilst I was there. Responded to the adrenalin laced local anesthetic by shaking and having heart palpatations but nothing a shot of glucose couldn't fix. Well done on getting the work done though.
