Well I did make a post last night, but it seems to have gotten itself lost in the internet ether. Goodness knows what it contained - it was written far too late at night. Damn brain wouldn't shut down, even after I'd finally gone to bed.
It's been a busy couple of days with David home - trying to fit 3 weeks of family life into a few short days is bound to make us busy people. He had to work on Wednesday, so we just did things around the house.
Thursday we went to Carousel Shopping Centre to get some new pj's and dressing gowns for the girls, and a haircut for both myself and David.
Today I had a playgroup committee meeting, so it was Daddy Day for the girls. They went for a 2nd trip to try to find a dressing gown to fit Nikita as yesterday's trip wasn't entirely successful. Today's trip was unsuccessful as well. However he did purchase a new lens for my camera, which should be extremely helpful for indoor photo shoots of fast moving objects (aka toddlers). So excited!! For those interested, it's a Canon EF50mm F1.8. He also picked up a couple of birthday presents for some of our nieces - just need to pick up some wrapping paper & organise cards.
Playgroup meeting went okay. There was only 4 of us there, but at least we could get into the building this time!! I told them about my plans of building towards another open session, and to create a session for babies only, which they seemed to think was a good idea. So more work for me. I've had a few people ring me up looking for something for their babies in the local area, and nothing really provided for their needs, so I came up with this idea. Will see how it goes I guess.
Well, that's pretty much me up to date. Looking forward to catching up with Karlene, Leo & Harrison tomorrow night & hearing all about their holiday!!

i often 'lose' posts - it's mostly because i've hit the 'save as draft' button by mistake. give me a yell if you don't know where to find them (the drafts) :o)
