Winter Already!!!

OMG where has this year gone already???

I've been slack, and yet oh so busy.

May was filled with school, swimming, dancing, birthday parties, going to the doctor with my mum (which is having excitingly promising results), having my dad come to visit (which was wonderful fun), and David was home for all but 4 or 5 days - and STILL here!!! Oh and it was also filled with throat infections, illness & NITS!! :O Our first dose of nits. Poor Sasha missed Mon-Wed of school in the middle of the month with a strep throat infection, went to school on Thursday & when I was doing her hair on Friday morning, found nits, so she missed again. Poor chooky was so upset!! She just loves going to school and two weeks of holidays sees her missing her teachers & friends so much.

June looks like it will be filled with more of the same - hopefully minus the illness & nits, lol. Sasha & David's birthdays are coming up. Sasha's party is all booked - Fairies Forever in Armadale. And her presents are all purchased already, although David now says HE needs to get her something himself, lol. David has had nothing bought for him as yet.

Tonight I've been working on the budget, right up to September pay. By then we should have paid off the kids' furniture & started saving some $$$ - if we manage to stick to it, don't have any unexpected expenses, and I haven't forgotten anything. Time will tell. We do slowly seem to be digging ourselves out of our hole at the moment, which is a good thing.

Maybe by the end of the year we can really start to consider investing... ... I really wish!!! The $50M powerball sometimes looks more attainable. lol

At the moment I'm loving Gordon Ramsay, in a kind of a perverse way. And House, but I can't believe this 'season' has only lasted 5 weeks or so!! What a joke!! Looking forward to tomorrow night's 2 hr end of season. Wishing Hero's would finish Season 2 so I can watch it all on video - haven't seen any of it yet!

Scrapping - I've hardly done anything lately. Must get into shuffling some papers around. Need to get some new photo's. I'm booked to go on Just Scrapbooking retreat in August, so if nothing else, I should start prepping some stuff to take to that so that when I come home I look like I've been productive, and so that I can blow ppl away with my extraordinary talents whilst I'm there too. :p lol
