The cupcakes are iced

The presents are wrapped. And tomorrow morning there is going to be very spoilt, but happy, birthday girl. Sasha's 5th birthday tomorrow.

Hard to imagine that already 5 years have passed since I was sitting in hospital waiting to be induced the next day. And yet it's hard to remember life pre-children too - it seemed to happen to someone else, not me.

She has school tomorrow, and Daddy is going in for parent roster. Then after school we're going to Fremantle for Fish & Chips at Cicerello's.

She's having a fairy party at Fairies Forever in Armadale on Saturday & she has 5 school friends coming along, and her younger cousins & sister. Everything is organised for us & we don't need to actually make any preparations at all. It feels a bit odd, but it is what she wanted! Nikita's having the same thing - she'd asked for it in the first place. We did try to go somewhere else for Sasha's, but it was already booked out.

So, anyway, Mother of the Birthday Girl must go & catch some ZZZzzz's before the big day tomorrow!
