In Sickness and In Health

Well we've been back to Spew Zone Central on Thursday, Friday & Saturday with Miss Nikita outdoing herself on Friday night. Eventually poor old Teddy copped it and had to join the rest of her bedding for a ride in the washing machine at 2am.

Of course she ended up in my bed after that & not much sleep was had by either of us. She seems to be bouncing back quickly enough though, happy & chirpy as ever, and then suddenly whingey & tired.

Sasha & I have mild colds at the moment too, which isn't much fun, but definitely better than gastro!!

And Sasha has a UTI, so she's on Amoxycillan. She LOVES taking medicine though, so that's great. Sometimes she's so convinced she's sick & needs medicine, we give her a syringe of "Placebo" (aka water - but don't tell her that!!).

David got home on Saturday night & he's healthy!! Yay for David!! It looks like he'll be here until Thursday.

We visited Debbie & Chris yesterday to see how they're extensions are progressing. It looks so different with the roof on and the walls rendered. The plasterer should be around this week, so it will look different again after that. Their house is going to be huge when it's finished.

Today we're spending the day at home, drilling a few holes & spending some time just playing with the girls. I think we should definitely do some painting as Sasha has been asking for a few days now to do some.

Tomorrow, Sasha's off to day care. David, Nikita & I will then go and pick up a present for Jordan (better late than never hey!) and hopefully catch up with him & Jimmy, Vikki & Madison too. It's also Larissa's birthday so I'd like to catch up with her at some stage.

Wednesday Katie (one of Sasha's friends) is coming over to play, and are going to the zoo to see Matthew, Josh & Maia too. :)

Thursday the girls are going to NannaJay's & I'll probably need to get some grocery shopping done. David will probably be going on this day too.

Friday, no playgroup!! We're on holidays. I just remembered now. So, no plans for Friday. I might see what Karlene's schedule for this week looks like & catch up with her if she's not busy.

So, that's it in a nutshell. Aside from these things, I have the Hyundai to sell, and a few baby items too.

Still waiting to see if I've won a Big Shot die cutting machine from Scrapbooking Memories. I put an entry in with a tip for using die cutters & my tip appears on their website (chain reaction), so I'm hanging out for the parcel postie every day for the past 6 weeks or so. My fingers are still crossed!!
