Once again EB has shown me the light, that I do not know EVERYTHING! lol
I've just discovered that there are some people who believe that salt goes in the shaker with more holes, and pepper goes in the shaker with less holes. I mean, they think they're right!! Far out I've never heard of such a thing in my life! It just rattles the foundations of my whole salt & pepper ideals to the core.
On a side note, the whole argument of which holes for which will be irrelevant after David's birthday as I'll most like get an electric grinder for salt & and seperate electric grinder for pepper. I know he covets them after visiting Karlene & Leo's beautiful new home. Lord help me if there's specific grinders for salt v's pepper!

Some mates of ours have the electric ones and they are so cool. Greg is a salt-a-holic and he loves them (secretly wants some for his birthday i think)

Oh, I thought that was how those shakers worked... but I guess it makes sense to have less salt and more pepper.
I swear that in restaurants it's often set up with salt in the more holes and pepper in the less - especially with the shakers that are opaque. And you can only tell which is which because you can see dark grains around the few hole shaker.
Hmm... I wonder if it's an East-side/West-side thing? :))
