In retrospect, it was kinda a big day in our house

Amongst the Easter Craft (hopefully pics to follow soon!) and the first use of the slow cooker Sasha asked the age-old question of how does the baby get out of the tummy?

We were outside - her on the swing, as usual, - me working on the Easter Craft activity. I felt a bit self-conscious trying to give her the appropriate answer within hearing of our neighbours, so I stalled a bit and then when we were inside I discussed it with her.

We also watched a video diagram on the net (thank you Mr Google). And after all that, Sasha has now decided that she doesn't want to have a baby anymore (this is after days of Mummy I'm Pregnant!! blink.gifblink.gifblink.gifblink.gif) - she wants to "be a Policeman" instead. Of course the two are mutually exclusive, aren't they.

Anyway, she gets how it all works, so that's one of those tricky questions I won't really have to go through again with her. Hope I can remember how I've phrased it so that it makes as much sense to Nikki when the time comes.

Now the clock's probably ticking for the slightly more dreaded question of "how does the baby get INTO Mummy's tummy"....................................... laugh.gif

Fantastic. Well done Mummy. I can't wait to start answering these sorts of questions. I would have been shouted at for asking such a question when I was little -- but I won't be making any such mistakes.
How exciting.

Now make sure you don't have any goggles around the next time you have a bath with her or she might go looking...just like Matt did when I explain how Ruby was coming into the world!!

LOL!!
