6 more sleeps!!

Until I am no longer Secretary of the Atwell Playgroup Inc. I am looking forward to handing over the responsibility. I've really outstayed my enthusiasm unfortunately, which makes it harder for the other committee members too. The attitude gets contagious I think.

Anyway, I've been asked a few times what I will do with my time & I jokingly said, go to sleep earlier!!! Most of my paperwork gets completed late at night. However, I'm sure I'll still find excuses for staying up late.

My priority with my new-found 'spare time' will be spent getting our family photographs and video up-to-date. The video stuff has never been up-to-date. But the photos I used to print and put into albums every 3 months. I'm about 18mths behind now!! I think I need to get organised & have certain nights of the week to do certain tasks ie. ironing/housework, photos, scrapbooking, video, tv, early night, etc.

Gee, the list just goes on and on doesn't it. There seriously isn't enough hours in the day to fit everything in.

And now I have another thing to fit in. Health & fitness!! I must make this an important priority in my life as I owe it to myself and to my kids. I want to be around a lot longer that what my body's going to give me if I don't make some BIG changes. I need to change my lifestyle, reassess my priorities, and get my fat ass moving!! lol

So today, I bought a X-Trainer!! Can't wait to get it started. I built it this afternoon. Took me about 2.5-3hrs, it was a major constructacon. Unfortunately the computer part is faulty and doesn't have a DC socket to plug the plug bit into. So I can't control the resistence, use the programs, use the pulse monitor, etc. I am waiting to hear back from KMart re fixing/replacing the computer part. I sure don't want to take the whole thing back as it took so long to build in the first place!! Spewin' it isn't ready to go straight away. Anyway, I hope it isn't going to take too long to fix/replace the broken part.

Now, I'm considering joining WW too. I think I really should!! Off to have a quick looksee, before a little more APG stuff & then bedtime!!

Good luck with the get fit campaign. I know exactly how you feel. When I made the decision to excercise properly for the first time in my life (the running) it was quite daunting. The trick is to set yourself goals (perhaps a walkathon moving to a gentle 5k job to raise money?) Then set yourself weekly times to do stuff. Without booking things in advance I found I couldn't stay focussed. Good luck. Be great to hear any updates.

When I get back from NSW...I'll drag you along to Body Pump classes!

It hurts the first few time but then you get hooked & start to enjoy the pain :-P

Wish you could edit comments on here...

Anyway, write in your diary 9.30am Tuesday 20th Nov Body Pump MAFC.

I've booked Ruby into the creche for that morning, you'll need to book Nikky in.

Then we both can be feeling sore & sorry for ourselves at the playgroup meeting that night...hahaha.

No excuses about school drop offs, you'll have plenty of time!
