You Bring Joy, You Bring Music

This is my LO for the Embellished Idol Round 6!! I sooooo can't believe that I'm still in the competition. And I'm more than a little embarassed considering the quality of the work from people who have already been voted out.

Have I said all that before? Probably sound like a broken record lol. But I truly am shocked and amazed. And not fishing for compliments either. Whilst I'm happy with what I've produced (which was the main point in entering), and the test for me to see if I could fulfil the commitment (which was the other main point in entering), I can see that my work is generally not on par with many of the other LO's there. No humilty, just fact.

In saying that though, this week's challenge to create a hybrid LO (part digi scrapping, and part paper scrapping) suits me to a Tee. I'm so stoked with what I've created and although probably not true digi-scrapping as such, my image is a piece of digital art. It's heavily inspired by work by Anna Aspnes, and also by Pauline owner of Designs in Digital, who are two of my all-time favourite digital artists.

I'm relatively confident this week, for a change, and you watch - this will be the week I don't make it I bet. Anyway, clues for next week's challenge "Reduce, Reuse & Recycle" - soooo not up my alley, that if I make it through this week, Round 7 would def be my last!!
