Just other stuff

We spent the day at home today, except for a quick trip to the shops for some veges. The weather was absolutely beautiful, so the girls have had a great time playing outside.

Sasha's recovering from her cold. She's still pretty fragile, and cries at the drop of a hat. I'm looking forward to her being back to her normal self.

Both girls had a lovely long sleep this afternoon. Despite protests from Sasha that she didn't need an afternoon sleep, she slept for almost 3 hours. I did try waking them a bit earlier, but no budging.

I had a really quite industrious day, cleaning the house & doing loads & loads of washing. I've still got loads & loads to go too.

Tomorrow we're off for a playdate at Emily & Kylie's. Emily is a lovely girl who is in Sasha's class in Kindy. Kylie is Emily's younger sister who will be in the same year as Nikita.

David headed off to the Stena Clyde oil rig for the last time, for now. He's changing over to a different rig, the Nanai 6, where he will be working 2 wks on 2 wks off. How amazing will our life be to actually know if he's coming or going!! The only problem is that we have a wedding invite for my cousin Nick that I need to RSVP for by Thursday & at this stage we have no idea when his roster commences. *rolleyes*

I've pretty much finished David's dominoes album, so will photograph that tomorrow, and finished my beauty wall sign, so putting that up before bed-time tonight. Then I *think* I might be able to get some scrapping done again. My fingers are itching to do some more.

On my list of outstanding things is:-
3 x pages for Molly (little girl who was hurt in the same accident as Sophie Delezio)
2 canvas collages (one each for Sasha & Nikita's bedrooms).
Nikita's keepsake tin
Hi-5 layout to complete (just awaiting info from Kelly regarding who's in one of the pics)

And then I might be able to turn my head to some new stuff.

Anyway, 10mins to bedtime & I have a sign to put up on the wall - better get on with it.
