Toilet Training - Day 4

Not too bad a day today. She took herself to the toilet a few times. No wee accidents on their own, but one poo accident. Ewww.

We went to Carousel & bought Sasha's birthday present from her Nanna & Grandad (David's parents), along with a small top-up from her savings accounts. She wanted to buy Pinkie Pie's Balloon House to go with her Ponyville set (My Little Pony stuff). She just loves that stuff. Nikita got to pick a proper Barbie doll as her reward for using the toilet last night. We were a bit nervous about going to Carousel with her in knickers, but all was good.

She had her afternoon sleep in knickers again, and all good.

Now tonight she's gone to bed in knickers. It took a while for her to go to sleep, but she's finally there, it's now 9pm.... We'll see if/when I'm required.

Maybe going cold turkey, even for sleeps will be a better thing. It means she's always having to be aware of her body's messages, instead of just sometimes when she's not in a nappy. I guess I think it kind of short-cuts one more thought process of "am I wearing a nappy or not" before deciding on what she should be doing. More encouraging an automatic, "Oh I need to do a wee/poo, therefore I need to go to the toilet." Just thinking out load - scarey thought huh.
