My house is full of dust.
My kitchen cupboard contents are all upon my scrap table.
My sink is in the garage.
We have no oven.
We have no cooktop.
We have no running water.
All I can say is Praise Be - the dishwasher is still connected & working!! LOL.
Our granite benchtop was installed today by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Frank. This guy was only 24 yrs young and such a hard worker. He was one of those blokes that come across and honest and reliable. He said he's always been a hard worker & after he's paid off his own home, he wants to buy another one. No, not as an investment as such, but as a place for his own parents to live as they are still renting & haven't had an easy life. How nice is that?!! It's so refreshing to meet people like him. Plus he did a fab job on the bench top.
I so can't wait until the whole job's finished & we can show off, and enjoy for ourselves, the finished product.
Man, I'm also hanging to see the laundry & toilet completed!!!! Oh to have a bench in the laundry & all that extra storage space. :)
Anyway, off to bed. Almost 10.30. This 10.30 bedtime is so hard to stick to most nights, can't say I've really succeeded with my New Year Resolution. Just gotta keep on trying.
Swimming tomorrow morning & then a clothing party at Sam's in the afternoon.
The weather over the last few days has been so perfectly fabulous. Really enjoyable to be outside.
Sasha's been busy at Kindy preparing for a Mother's Day Morning Tea on this Friday. It's so nice that she's so excited about the preparations. Today she cooked muffins for the morning tea & then she told me it was going to be a surprise. lol. So cute.
