Portrait of Daddy

Here's a pic that Sasha just drew. Nikita's having an afternoon nap & I didn't feel that Sasha needed one, so she did some work in her exercise book and then did some drawings. She's obsessed with drawing people at the moment and I'm constantly finding pictures of people with smiley faces everywhere.

Last night when I went to bed, there was a piece of paper from a memo cube next to my pillow with a smiley faced person on it. It was like a love note for me. Made me smile. I've put it straight on my scrap table.

Anyway, with this picture, she said she was drawing Daddy. You can see his ears, belly button and willy!! Then she drew some scribble over his legs & willy to put his pants on.

Then she drew a few more pictures of people. And finally went on to draw a whale with a tale, smiley face, spout of water where he was "breathing" (!!!!), and a fin.

How cute! It's so much fun to see the world through the eyes of a child.
