Welcome to Autumn!!?!

Wowser's 40.4 today & 42 tomorrow & 42 Wednesday!! Unbelievable weather. I don't know whether Sasha will be sent home from Kindy if it gets to 42, although I guess it's more likely to hit those temps later in the arvo by which time we'll be home cooling off in the pool.

Angel's been really flat & sick today. I'm quite worried about her. I don't know if she has a tummy bug, infection, can't cope with the heat, or what the problem is. If she's still off tomorrow arvo, David said he'll take her to the vet to get her checked out. Diggitty's been fine, but slept off the heat for most of today. Hardly saw him, despite being outside in the backyard with the girls for about 4 hours!!

STILL WAITING TO GET MY PC BACK FROM HARVEY NORMAN!!! OMG they're so unbelievable (literally!!). They've made mistakes and are now backtracking, trying to shift the blame for the delays back onto us and onto Hewlett Packard. They said that they'd asked David for Recovery Disks when he dropped the PC off. (Try verrry hard not to swear or use offensive language here btw!!) Well I was the one who dropped the PC off & they did NOT ask me for recovery disks. In fact on one occasion that I went into the store to find out where it was at, they said they were waiting on recovery disks from Hewlett Packard & I queried why we hadn't been asked for them instead & they said that they generally don't bother to ask the customer as they usually don't create them!! They are such liars & that is what is making my verrrry angry. I spoke with the manager & he said it was all heresay & he couldn't very well approach his staff & ask why they were lying & that he could understand that I "felt" I'd been lied to. OMG whatever happened to the customer is always right?? Anyway, I've now requested that the store owner call me & will see what happens there. Not holding my breath & just wishing I could get my damn machine back!!! What a saga. Sorry for the rant (& that's only about 1/3 of the story!!).

Sasha's settled into Kindy really well. She doesn't even cry when it's time for us to leave her there. I made her a really cool little family book to commemorate her starting Kindy. I'll have to scan it sometime & post the pictures here. I'm also just finishing off her 1st Day of Kindy scrapbook layout.

Nikita's a bit jealous of Sasha's kindy book & her photo album from our Qld/ACT holiday last year, so I'm making her a handbag album. It's going to look so cute once it's done!! They'd make fabulous Mother's Day gifts.

Anyway, I'd better sign off there. Busy day tomorrow!!! Katie (one of Sasha's friends) is coming home with Sasha from Kindy tomorrow for a play-over, and then after she goes, Harrison (Karlene & Leo's little fella) is coming over for the evening whilst K&L go to see Little Britain in Perth.

Hopefully next time I blog, I'll be back on my fabulous, fixed HP Pavillion Desktop PC!!
