Uh Oh - The Secret's OUT!!

Yep Sasha's already worked out the contents of some of her presents.

Thankfully not the bikes yet. She's been really good with the Bedroom is Out Of Bounds rule. She's come through a couple of times when I've gone to the bathroom (aaaaargh - not a moment's peace until after bedtime for me!!), but the bikes are 'hidden' under a sheet that I bought to use as a photography backdrop. I also stuffed one of David's pillows under there to help disguise the handlebars a bit.

Anyway I was in the shower this morning and called out to Sasha to make sure she wasn't up to discovering the bikes.

"What are you doing Sasha"
"I'm putting the books in a circle"
"What books?"
"The books under the Christmas Tree" (ie. Uncle Graham's presents - I didn't tell her what they were, I promise!!)
"How do you know they're books?"
"Because, they're books!!"

There's no getting anything past her. We have some really hilarious conversations these days, and sometimes they're just damn frustrating. She was being very naughty & difficult & whingey at the shops today, so I crouched down and said
"What's wrong Sasha?!!!"
"I want youuuuu"
"Well I'm right here. What do you want me for?"
"Because I want youuuuuu"
"Why do you want me?"
"mmm Because, isn't the answer"
"But what is the matter?!!!"
"I want youuuuuu"
"What for?!!!"
"Because isn't the answer"
"OK, well I don't know what the problem is, or how I can help you, so how about I just give you a hug & you stop whinging OK?"
*big hugs & a kiss*
