Nikita - the original Kamakaze Kid. She comes with a variety of nicknames - Sasha's taken to calling her Nik this week, a few weeks ago it was Barb. I call her LuLah, Chikki Nikki, Kita-Kid, Nikki, Boobah and probably a few more that I can't think of just now.
She's a funny girl. Scared of strangers - and I mean SCARED, not shy. Especially men. Which probably isn't a bad thing as the boys seem intrigued with her already. She is getting better though, especially since she started walking. Most times she gets set off now is when she's 'trapped', like strapped in the stroller or her high chair.
On the other hand, she's got no fear of many of the things she should have!! No fear of water & if we take her swimming, her play time consists of continually giving Mummy & Daddy a heart-attack when she falls over & can't get up. She loves it!! Sits there underwater looking up at us with a funny grin. Climbs on everything. Sasha wasn't a climber, so I'm learning a whole new variety of naughty things that kids can get up to. She's a button-pusher, drawer opener, mishief making machine.
She was such an easy baby. Really lovely natured, easy going, good sleeper. These days my baby is transforming into yet another raving toddler. With all the challenges and enthusiasm that goes with it.Just today, she's invented another new thing of coming into the kitchen as I'm cooking dinner. Teddy in one hand, she pushes roughly at my leg with the other hand & demands "I wan cuddle!!". How cute eh. Yes it was, the first, second, even the third time. Sadly though I did eventually have to say no I had to make dinner. She toddled off outside to find some other mischief to make with her sister.
Oh and her great love for the past 6 months is Teddy. Words just can express her affection for this little guy.
